AerialDataset is operated by Avenian LLC. This page describes information used to run the catalog, respond to inquiries and deliver licensed datasets.

Information you provide

Licensing inquiries include your name, email address, organization, intended use and message. Customer accounts hold contact details, password hashes, account-security settings and records of dataset access. We retain references to the applicable agreement and payment, not payment-card details.

Operation and security

Essential cookies support sign-in, request verification and short status messages. Server and delivery logs may record request times, IP addresses, paths and security events. Access events are logged to administer licenses and protect the service. This application does not include advertising trackers.

Dataset metadata and media

Public listings contain reviewed descriptions, file inventories and approved previews. Exact coordinates may be withheld or generalized. Source contributor account identifiers, private storage paths and licensing evidence are not included in public discovery feeds. Licensed files can contain richer capture and geospatial metadata; their handling is governed by the applicable agreement.

Service providers and retention

Hosting, storage, content delivery and email providers process information to operate this service. Information is retained as needed to provide access, maintain licensing provenance, resolve disputes, meet applicable obligations and protect the service. Backups and audit records may follow separate retention schedules. No user-facing action is treated as an instruction to destroy required provenance records automatically.

Requests and concerns

Use the contact form for privacy requests, suspected rights problems or concerns about a particular dataset. Include the dataset reference when possible. Access, correction, deletion and restriction requests are reviewed in light of applicable requirements and legitimate recordkeeping needs.
